Trevor Chamberlain ROI RSMA
Biography
Born in 1933 in Hertford, Trevor began painting from an early age, and became a professional in
1964. In 1971 he was elected a Member of the Royal Society of Marine Artists
and in 1972 he was elected a Member of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters. Trevor is also a member of the Wapping Group and currently serves on the Council of both the Royal Society of Marine Artists and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters

My main subjects of interest are marine, figure, town and landscape, with particular emphasis on atmosphere and light. I paint alla prima from life, using oils and watercolours.
