Gallery 02 - OPENING SOON
As a result of the extremely positive feedback we have received from artists that have been exhibiting with us in the main gallery here at [mine], we are now looking to establish a real centre for the arts in south London and Surrey by opening up additional rooms in the gallery building which will be dedicated to establishing our resident artists programme.Within these additional rooms, wall panels and ceiling panels, plinths, display cabinets and shelves will be available for artists to hire at very cost effective rates on a quarterly basis, providing them with high profile representation and the potential for sales throughout the year in a prominent gallery setting, 25 minutes from central London by train or the heart of Surrey by car.

Prices for plinths, display cabinets and shelves will be available shortly. Space on the gallery walls will be rented out per square meter over a minimum rental period of a 'seasonal quarter' (three months) as follows:

SEASONAL SHOWS
The seasonal shows will run in gallery 02 at [mine] throughout 2012 as follows:
Spring: March, April and May
Summer: June, July and August
Autumn: September, October and November
Winter: December 2012, and then January and February 2013

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Commission payable on sales of work
A 10% commission (potentially subject to VAT) on sales of artists work made through the gallery will only be applied once the artist has made back the cost of the hire of the space for the seasonal quarter in which the sale is made.
Please note the following important information:
> If a customer generated by the gallery or through associated publicity approaches a resident artist at [mine] to buy work [not on show in one of the [mine] galleries] then there is no commission payable to the gallery by the artist.
> If a customer generated by the gallery or through associated publicity approaches an artist for a private commission, then there is no commission payable to the gallery by the artist for the commission.
> If an artist wishes the gallery to handle all the sale or private commission inquiries generated for them through the gallery, or if the artist would like [mine] to represent them, a set fee arrangement can be negotiated for these services. Credit card charges
A flat rate fee will be applicable to purchases of artists work made by customers using a credit card. Flat rate fee still to be negotiated. Details will be published here shortly.
