Emily Hall
Emily Hall is a crafts practitioner living in London and a recent graduate of
BA(Hons) 3D Materials Practice at Brighton University. Her work draws
on a wide source of inspiration from human behaviour, craft in different
cultures such as India and learning from older generations. She
particularly enjoys working with wood and ceramics because of the rich
history embedded in the making processes and their significance within
many cultures.
Emily's most recent collection of work sees her passion for traditional skills shown through a series of ceramic and willow pieces which harnesses the technique of basketry, a skill that is at risk of becoming a dying art.
